BAND: The Corpses
The Corpses
Bio:
OK, Where to start... After around 5 years of dickering around on $50 guitars and $2000+ basses Edgar Blood and Bryan Vain were at the end. Searching in the deepest corners and darkest holes for a drummer WITH A DRUM SET. At long last, they happened upon a rather...unique lad with an easily forgettable name. Coined "Stewie," this remarkably sugar-laden drummer WITH A DRUM SET, solidified the band as a thundering freight train of raw punk fury. Through weekend after weekend of head pounding sound and continuous bitching, they settled both on a sound and a name, The Corpses. They survive on a diet of classic punk music, videogames, and extremely spicy food curtesy Stewie's mom.
In Mid 2005 they released few copies of the Hit The Deck EP. Standout tracks "Hit The Deck" and "Young Dalilah." "Young Dalilah" received minor air play on the latenight show on LIVE 105 with DJ No Name. In Mid 2006 they recorded the Deranged session (Deranged EP). The track "Ghouls Gone Wild" received frequent airplay on the same local radio station.

With a lack of live events they often only record in the spur of the moment. Banging out some tunes almost everyday to any passerby. With loud, cheesy looking, and held,-together-by-gl ue gear, they live to make ears bleed. If your lucky enough to experience The Corpses live, prepare for an unbelievable pit, inaudible vocals, and your ears to be ringing the next day.
