Bio:
December 2001 was when old school punk rockers DAN DISORDERED and ETHAN THE HEATHEN began SLEEZUS FIST AND THE LATTER DAY TAINTS. Without delay, they brought in drummer JROD, influenced by country and various punk rock styles. But when Heathen one day invited rock and roll bassist JOHNNY CANCER to sit in at a practice, it'd prove only a matter of time before the outlaw cabal would stage their inaugural performance and perpetrate a formidable six-song EP demo titled (unabashedly), "...AND SLEEZUS WAS BORN."
That August would find the criminal combine once again underground, in a ferocious and desperate frenzy of activity. And in all of a matter of a few weeks' time society once more discovered itself unprepared and utterly helpless in the face of the ring's notorious and most ambitious triumph of mass atrocity: for upon that fateful day of the 13th of that very September came the release of SLEEZUS FIST AND THE LATTER DAY TAINTS' self-titled album (of 13 tracks - a cruel and cynical pun to ice the cake.)
And then catastrophe, original member DISORDERED - reeling from, supposedly, a sudden and inexplicable Moment Of Clarity, to become a Jehovah?s Witness - quit the band.
Emergency auditions for immediate replacement were arranged and, as luck would have it, the enterprise was rewarded once again in its brazen ambitions with the introduction of one ZOMBIE MARCO who, yet to-date, remains the Metal Edge cornerstone of the group as axe-cutioner of electric speed metal punishment. Sleezus Fist And The Latter Day Taints have compiled a booking and touring history which has set their career apart from that of virtually any other local Texas act of their kind. In terms of serious work ethic and the spirit of classic punk thrash metal.
Both in product and in the field SLEEZUS FIST evinces a formidable example of professionalism.
