BAND: NadaQueHacer
NadaQueHacer
Bio:
NadaQueHacer has been making Melodic Hardcore in Spanish since 1994 from Montevideo, Uruguay. After releasing 4 albums (Mitomania, Haciendo Pie, Bunker de Ideas y Fragil) and 10 years with the same formation, on May 2005, Nacho (vocalist and guitarrist till the moment), decides to leave the band.
Sapo gets in charge of singing, what represents an important change in the bands sound. After a month of searching, Julio is included in the band as the new guitar player. This was followed by certain time of test and rehearsal to adapt to the change and become familiar with the new formation. The change was not only in the voice, but also in the new member. Julio brought with him his own style and ideas, and showed to be an important contribution to the band. Thanks to this, they manage to assemble a new sound, without separating from their essence, but giving a fresh air to their songs.
Whith a repertoire of classic songs, but simultaneously renewed, and two new songs, they play live for the first time with this formation on August 24th, 2005 in BJ, Montevideo. Their songs display inventiveness and creativity in music and arrangements, coexisting there their traditional essence, originality and innovation. After a long time of expectation and incertainty from the band and its followers, both parts were satisfied (some surprised) by the result. There was a great approval in general.
Along with the change, their web site renews, and is updated regularly by the band. They also impel on their mailing list and fotolog, average ways of direct bonding and contact with their followers. Motivated by the acceptance and support of their people, and fortified on ther new formation, they continue progressing in the Montevideo scene, with several shows. They also have the oportunity to play in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The year 2005 was somewhat special for the band, and for the beginning of 2006, after a brief rest, the shows begin again. This, dedicating their time to work on their new material, completing the songs, and playing them live. All of this thinking of the possibility to release a new record in 2006.
