Bio:
EVANGELINE officially were born in Rome with the name of TESTEXT in 1998, with a various formation regarding that one they puts into effect and changes name in 2005.

Since their debut they already began a research to find a personal sound mixing hardcore impression, metal guitar riffs and energic skatepunk melodies. On the end of the 1999 they record thier first demo with 5 tracks and start getting good reputation in the italian hardcore scene. After few years making experiences, in 2004, Evangeline

participate to most important events of their career sharing the stages with such great bands like SHANDON, ANTI-FLAG, DARKEST HOUR, PERSIANA JONES, PIPEDOWN, FRIDAY STAR, FACE THE FACT, STRENGTH APPROACH, COMECLOSER and many other bands. In this period they sell more than 200 copies of theirs demo only in Rome. In the November of the same year they receive very important award called PUNKADEKA BEST PUNK DEMO 2004, that make them play on the main stage of the M.E.I. of Faenza, that is the Italian meeting of independent labels with DEROZER, SUN EATS HOUR, RAPPRESAGLIA and LOS FASTIDIOS. In 2005, after other numerous concerts, the band can play at "MEETING DEL MARE" in Marina di Camerota supporting two of "bigest" Italian bands: NEGRITA and BANDABARDO'. In the same year Evangeline signs a contract with the NERDSOUND RECORDS, independent label from Italy, for the production of their first official full-length official. In July 2005 they participate to the great festival EASTPAK "etnikarock" in Ceccano (FR), where they exhibited with PUNKREAS, ME FOR RENT, MARSHMALLOWS and FIVE O'S .
The first Full-Lenght of the band will be released by NerdSound Records on May 2006.
