Bio:
Since 2001 Washington DC's Bleeder Resistor has been crafting their own original brand of hardcore punk rock. Taking a cue from early punk heroes like Dag Nasty, Bad Religion and 7 Seconds, they inject energetic hardcore riffs with melodies that stick in your head. Layers of brooding guitar noise ride waves of shifting rythm, straddling the gap between modern hardcore acts like Strike Anywhere and the noisy power pop of Sonic Youth and Sebadoh.
Jeff Forbes, previously of DC HarDCore standouts Latchkey, plays guitar, sings and writes lyrics. Joey Nayls came on board in the Spring of '04 to play bass and sing after years with Roger Miret and the Disasters and Baltimore punk rock-n-rollers, No Class Heroes. Drummer Paul Maniscalco's distinctive style, honed over his years with All Fall Down creates a rythmic pathway that Bleeder Resistor follows straight to Hell.
