Nobody does it better, nobody does it worse, nobody does it period. Others tip-toe around the edges, making little running starts and half-hearted passes, but when you are talking about the ?O? mind, the very central eye of the universe that opens up like a huge, gaping, sucking maw, you have just stepped in POOP. There are no compromises, no attempts to soothe or play games in hope of expanding into a fabled wider audience. Short, fast, mind-splattering - These guys toss your head with free-form visions of teen-angst, paranoia, frustration and anger. And if that doesn?t sound attractive, then you have been living on borrowed time for far too long.
What else can be said...
Almost every night these guys are producing the kind of tough, thankless, in-your-face music that makes you wanna get into a car and plow down the highway at 90mph to wrap yourself around a telephone pole. Once you?ve heard it, there ain?t no coming back and no one in the world is gonna be able to pickup the pieces after the night is over, because after this there IS nothing.
