Bio:
Boredom originally formed in 1995 in Blackburn Lancashire. Band name taken from one of the greatest punk songs of all time, by the Buzzcocks.Signed to Abstract Records in 1998 released Seditionaries Revisited E.P, recorded a full album, never released. Gigged all over Britain including London support slots with Menace and the UK Subs. Split 2001.
Reformed with original members late 2003 adding Andy on rhythm guitar, played highly successful support slots in 2004 with Menace and the UK Subs amongst others and recently went down a storm in front of a 400 strong crowd as warm up for Sham 69 . The band have also supported TV Smith, 999 (on numerous Occasions) The Lurkers etc.
Released self funded EP titled Back and Kicking on Blackburn DIY Label Noize Anoize Music sold 250 copies (only available at gigs) before being deleted. Released an album of demo.live and DIY recordings from 2001 - 2004 under the title Menthols and Cider (Noize12) Recorded a new E.P titled Lowlife in November 2005 which sold out its initial two pressings in 6 months. The band also played the Wasdted festival campsite
2006 will see Boredom hit the road once again with numerous UK Gigs planned to support the release of the brand new album "Put an end to it" which will be released in the UK in May 06 by Noize Anoize Music..
