Bio:
Psychobilly, horror punk, pyschopunk, whatever u call it, DRC had its humble beginnings in Brookfield, MA. Tired of daytime TV and masturbation, Sleazy J picked up his guitar and started to rock. Instead of looking for a talented bassist, he grabbed an old buddy, the preposterous R and taught him the ways of a poor punk rock nobody. Later, miles away (about 6 to be exact) the notorious N was jamming on his Bass when he decided playing alone sucked. Once again, instead of looking for someone with pre-existing talent, he gave the Malicious S a call, taught him a few tricks on the ol guitbox, and started to make sweet music. After long hours of honing their skills, the two groups would combine to form THE DOWNRIGHT CREEPIES. After many unsuccessful attempts to force good drummers to drum for them, they all shelled out cash to buy the Malicious S' cousin a shit set of drums. He would spend much of his free time making loud, irritating noise until he would finally carry a beat, and become the irreplaceable Dapper D. It's been over a year now, and the Kids are alright. If we can play with THE AUTOMATONS, MONGREL, THE PROZACS, TRASHLIGHT VISION, MICHALE GRAVES/PROJECT GOTHAM and THE INDEPENDENTS, we can play with whoever u are! Drop us a line - The one, the only, the sleazy, Sleazy J Creepy.
