With a crazy live show and a sound that will be harder to come down from than Heroin, the five members of A Fall From Innocence are poised to release their second full length album and are preparing to take their energetic live show across Canada yet again. The band, which consists of Larry Babic (vocals), Waylon Bougie (bass/vocals), Marc Santos (drums), Matt Durette (guitar/vocals) and Jeff King (guitar), are enthusiastically awaiting the release of their new album, which contains more ambitious and high energy songs that are a mix of influences that span every genre and multiple decades of music. The yet untitled new album is expected to be released sometime in late January 2006.
A Fall From Innocence came together in the fall of 2003 as a four piece and played their first show a few months later. The band quickly started to build up a fan base in their home town of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. In March of 2005 the band released "The Breathing Method" their first full length album. Shortly after the release of the album the band hit the road for a month long tour that took the band from Vancouver, British Columbia to Rimouski, Quebec. While on tour the band shared the stage with bands like The Horror Pops, Crowned King, The Resistance, The Planet Smashers, Belvedere, The Fullblast, The Bleeding Alarm and many more.
After returning home from tour the band continued to play shows around their home town. It was shortly after the band played the Heatwave Festival that they asked Jeff to join the band. After playing a few shows with the new and improved line up, the boys began writing new material for their follow up to 2005's The Breathing Method.
You can catch the boys bringing the rock around northern Ontario throughout this winter and catch them on their Canadian tour in late spring of 2006. You?re bound to hear some fan favorites as well as plenty of new material so come on out and shake what your momma gave ya?
