BAND: Denotts
Denotts
Bio:
Denotts (initially Denots).

Was born in Hollywood, California by the end of 2003. Originally conceived as a three-piece by Leonel Suite (vocals-guitars), Martin Lou (bass) and Pepper Denny (drums), Denotts began recording its first E.P at Paramount Studios. The result? 70`s punk rock meets 2000`s aggression! A killer mix of fast songs and great solos to be played as loud as hell.

Its first performance unexpectedly happened in the City of Patterson (a few miles away of San Francisco) at the annual ?Apricot Fiesta?, where they played for over 2000 people and sold out every single E.P. they had. After that, several shows in Ventura, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange County and Las Vegas.

The band enjoyed critical acclaim from the local press and regular airplay in college radios. Performed a sold out show at the world famous Troubadour in West Hollywood and rocked out every single one at the venue. Denotts live performance is something that must be experienced rather than explained.

In 2004, Pepper Denny (drums) left the band for personal issues. The immediate reaction of the group (action = reaction) was to go on studio and record a full length album. Auditions were made, and Cary Kane (ex Rob Zombie) was the right one for the job.

The recording of Vol.1 was done in a very brief amount of time, with British producer Dave Newton at Rollercoaster Studios, in Los Angeles. The final result is a very well produced record. A unique mixture of fun and talent throughout the twelve songs on the album. With tunes in both, English and Spanish like ?Heaven and hell? or ?Higher? and a cover of Nino Bravo?s classic ?Un beso y una flor?. Once the album was ready, The D departed to Argentina to set base and start the revolution.
By the end of 2004, Denotts got also the sponsorship of Coffin Case/Black Cross.

Vol.1 came out in August 2005 thru Panico Records.
Now, it`s 2006 and Denotts has been rejuvenated with a new line up featuring Jota Solo on guitars and Fernando Minimal on drums. The band performed its first show at the Gargantua Theatre in Buenos Aires and lots more for local radio stations in Mar del Plata, C?rdoba and Santa Fe.

A global distribution awaits, while Denotts Vol.I is available worldwide thru CDBaby.com, tours in South America, Europe and USA are among the plans. And of course, the shooting of a video.
Seat and wait....
