If you have been out on the Detroit punk rock scene you will know Smashbandits. Loud music, friendly energetic crowds and cold beer are the main ingredients of every Smashbandits show.
The music is original speed-punk with a unique trend-breaking sound all its own. Refusing to conform to the mainstream sound of modern "punk", the bold guitar crunch, pounding drums, agile bass and lightning fast melodies have distinguished Smashbandits as a Detroit classic.
Over the last five years, their acts have placed them in every type of venue imaginable: from invading local gin-mill classic rock open mic nights, to pulverizing heavy metal hangouts, to piercing eardrums in hillbilly bars, to setting bad examples in all aged teeny bopper night clubs, to backyard barbeques, to retirement homes, to birthday parties, to invoking mosh pits in the sweat and beer stained stages of the resurrecting Detroit punk scene, Smashbandits are here to stay.
