From the south west of the UK,Formed in September Downtown Riots are 5 month old,five piece female fronted Thrashy / Hardcore punk band with a subtle melodic undertone, bringing influences from the likes of Rancid, F- minus, the Exploited etc.

Owning the stage, 18 year-old Chlo Edwards roared her unapologetically abrasive lyrics in a female Rage Against the Machine fashion. Listing their influences as Rancid, F-minus and Exploited, they’re thrashy, hard and punky - and they use the f-word - a lot.
