Hell-o. Eerie Eric from Fear the Dead .com here. About me, I am former singer of Kick your ass CORE band Seize To Exist and I use to have a label "Nc17 Records" but I called it quits after some personal problems. In the last weeks I have developed a website on my own server and computer at: www.fearthedead.com with the idea I would create a website devoted to the love of HORROR. I had a huge response to it when I got on MySpace with it at: www.myspace.com/eric dumas . I had this idea to start a new label fed off of my Fear the Dead .com idea called Fear The dead Records. I started with a Halloween Cd Comp coming out on Oct 12th. Hopefully it takes off. I am currently going to put out a new band called "Appetite for brains" EP Cd self titled by November. I plan on recruiting other bands to release on the label as well. I am low budget but high quality. I put out and print all cds myself using recording studio software from my computer on high quality blank cds I buy in bulk. I will pay bands 50% of net which on a full length cd that I charge 10 bucks for with free shipping...50% of net is 3 bucks a cd sold and ep cds with 7 songs or less bands get 1 dollar a cd sold...ep cds I only sell for 6.66 free shipping. Another plus with being on the label is I mail many free copies to magazines for review and advertise alot through my channels. Cd comps I do not pay bands but offer alot of advertising as I can advertise them with banners on all 3 of my sites and with ads that float around MySpace and the web. I don’t make anything off of the cd comps as they cost me alot to make and I sell them for $6.66 free shipping and free stickers. The cd comps are mainly for advertising of fearthedead.com site. All cd comps and cd EP albums with 6 songs or less cost $6.66 for customers and full length cds cost 10.00 all the time free shipping to keep costs as cheap as possible.
