Bio:
Towards the early 2007,, a bunch of local students got together and decided to form a band called Mary-Kate Lost Her Weight..
Mary-Kate Lost Her Weight is a side project band of Ilham (guitar player of "Failing Forward" jakarta),, Bawang (ex-drummer of "Suicide Isn't Solution" jakarta),, Togel (currently play in "May She Knows" and "Age Of Terror"),, Gigih (still take a part in guitar of "The Sabar Menanti")
The story was begun when Ilham watched a punk rock show
in Jogja...He met Togel for the first time there...
And accidentally meet again over and over in different gigs
later...Finally they were exchanging their phone number each other
in order to give any information if there is another rock shows
in town...Several weeks later, Ilham asked Togel
to form a group of band because Ilham already knew that Togel
is a bass player...And then Ilham phoned Bawang, his friend in
high school when he was in Jakarta who continued his school in
Jogja to give some beats in drum position...And then They needed one
more guitarist...And then Bawang asked Gigih to join in their
new project as a guitarist...Gigih is Bawang's classmate in
campus and also Bawang's partner in his previous band...
Finally these four guys form a group of band named
MARY-KATE LOST HER WEIGHT, After went through several
changes of the band's name because of grammatical error
from "Lose" to "Lost"....Hehehe.. .. :p
