Before any start, were going take this opportunity to make clean our wishes in diffusing the punk culture and our worries about keeping the D.I.Y. spirit alive; Everything started in 1996, when 3 kids with a lot of wants and no resources managed to start a band; and this way the Luta Armadas history has begun.
The meaning of Luta Armada in English is something like Armed Fight. Here in Brazil this name is referred to the conflicts between different social classes, its strongly associated with the social revolution. We have been playing under this name for 10 long years, and today the name has also cultural meaning.
Today the punk culture is being an essential part of our lives, our day by day.
Apart from the band, we edit a punk zine and maintain a punk distro.
