Bio:
"Sleep Odessa" are a pop-punk band from Surrey, who formed in 2005. The band is composed of Raph Hetherington on bass and vocals, Ben Copping on guitar and vocals and Marco Nardone on drums. The band emerged following the dissolution of "Asyla", in which Copping and Nardone played. "Odessa" started out under the temporary name of See You Next Tuesday; however, with the discovery of another group called See You Next Thursday, Sleep Odessa was chosen as the band's name. With the completion of their as-of-yet-untitled EP, "Odessa" have a plethora of new material behind them, with memorable songs such as "Maybe's Such a Strong Word" and "Unknown Origin" receiving enthusiastic responses from a fast growing fanbase. The band brings forward a refreshing take on the pop punk sound, and drawing from influences that encompass hundreds of different styles, from Rush to New Found Glory, they have successfully managed to breathe new life into what idiots call 'emo'.
