Bio:
3upFront is an original, explosive, energetic, and driven style of alternative punk. They have strong influences, and similarities, to bands such as Bad Religion, NOFX, Sublime, Jimi Hendrix, and Misfits. Originated in Kings Beach, Lake Tahoe CA, in 1999. They currently reside in Santa Cruz CA, and continue to lure, and captivate their audience.
From the beginning, and immediately gaining a phenomenal amount of local support, they began to play shows with such bands as ?TENFOLD, AGENT ORANGE, and 1208?. Taking them through out the western United States, (majority of Ca, Az, and Nv), their passion and intensity for the music, grew rapidly. After having had producers film a Pay Per View satellite concert featuring 3upFront, they decided it was time to broaden their horizons.
With a handful of cash and a brand new van, they headed for Santa Cruz, Ca, in 2000. Once again, almost instantaneously, they began to gain control and support of the local music scene in the bay area. Receiving huge support from local radio and community television stations such as ?103.9 SANTA CRUZ ?X??, and ?Santa Cruz Community TV?, they are still blowing doors down, and gaining fans by the masses. Continuing their streak of good luck, they?ve been honored to play with bands such as ?HOOBASTANK, THE RIVALS, DIE TRYING, and RIBSEY?S NICKEL? and have been featured on several ?Idle Hands? shows broadcast from Santa Cruz Community Television, Channel 27.
Now, 3upFront is kicking off the new year, with an exciting handful of shows in many of the major cities of California; and are currently back in the studio, doing what they do best, making some kick ass music.
