BAND: Damn The Luck

Bio:
Damn The Luck was first established in 1999 by two good friends, Alvin (TheDrunkFilipino) and Joey Oliver..while jamming in the garage, they were approached by another old friend, Mike Burke.. now Burke wanted to join the band..and hired his friend James (TopJimmy) Gallagher to join in as vocals.. still missing a drummer, the four would hold practices in Alvin's garage a few times a week, or practice would be held in Burke's awning shop on Broadway Ave. In early 2000, the four came up with the band name "PegLeg Pete and the Tube Socks, but still missing a drummer, they wrote their first two songs... "Mike Burke," and "Katherine," a love sick song about forbidden love, drunken nights and stalking. Late 2000 was a good year for these four adventurers, when a drummer by the of Bass decided to join the band.. first performing at Alvin's basement party.. later they recorded their first demo at Pan Studios, but was ripped off by the owner..so they decided to do live gigs instead... first performing at the High Pointe.. they sold out the place.. and decided on more gigs later on.. but first.. a change of name had to be made.. the group decided on the name "Odd Man Out" but the name was already taken..thus.. Damn The Luck was born... Damn the Luck was gracious enough to do gigs at the Way Out Club, The Galaxie (before it was closed down), and the Creepy Crawl.. It wouldn't be long before the band decided to try and record more songs.. making a promise to each other that the band would always last.. and if even one member called it quits.. Damn the Luck would never again re-form under other names nor copy each others songs for that matter.. it didn't happen that way.. in late 2002, alvin called it quits.. and so did Joey.. James, Mike and Bass breaking the promise made to the band..decided to from another band (Chrome Nuns).. and managing to steal some of Alvin's old songs... so what happend to Damn the Luck... Damn the Luck is once again back, and of course with new members.. the guitarist is still Alvin of course.. but the lineup has completely changed
