I'm not that interesting, really.
But I'm pro tolerance in all forms (excepting the toleration of intolerance and to that aim i support Pro-Test (www.pro-test.org.uk /) & The Electronic Frontier Foundation (www.eff.org/about/) .
I proscribe to many but not all of the ideals of the labor movement and Anarcho-syndicalism and some of the other social anarchist groups. However I dont suport all the crap that many middle class know nothings assign to it and i certainly don't advocate violent struggle.
I'm also one of those people who deplores myspace and wishes people would set up their own web sites (now there's craftsmanship to be done even on the most defunct beige box that exists I know, I own ten, fifteen of these)
Oh and im a big fan of Alan Sokal and the idea that science should be treated with respect equivalent to the effort and benefit brought about, and that these judgments can only be made with the assimilation and consideration of the knowledge being assessed, i consequently believe that whether something appears to be "scientific" or "academic" is neither here nor there till you have studied and understood all the concepts in it to the level that is relevant.
Oh and I like bowler hats, and consequently wear one (almost) everywhere.
