Liking Greenday and Blink 182 does not make you punk. Wearing silly badges that say stuff like 'Punk is not dead' Does not make you punk. Hating the government does not make you purely punk...Lets face it, my stepdad hates the government and hes anything but Punk. Being anti thinsg does not make you punk. Cutting yourself does not make you punk.
Punk is not how you look or how you dress.
Punk is a state of mind.
Yes you may find me saying this funny as I dress in 'Punk' clothing. But I like it . End Off. Purely looking like a 'Punk' does not make you Punk. Niether does hating things. Punk isn't about hate. Its not about anarachy. Its not just what half of you think it is. Punk is knowing your opionions and not being afraid to voice them. Punk is telling people how it is, and not being afriad of the respite for it. Punk is getting respect for being who you are and not giving a shit. Punk's aren't just there to stand out.
There's a little bit of punk in us all.

I like old school punk. I don't like this new crap that people label as punk. Some jumped up 20 yr olds called Simple Plain singing about how the world hates them and how their gonna leave home. Is not punk.
Sorry kids Greenday isn't punk. Niether is Blink. Admittedly Blink are good for what they are. But can you all please stop mislabelling them. Thank you.
