 www.itslivemusic.com is a new search engine, currently in beta version, for live music shows throughout the US. It'sLiveMusic is the place for people looking for local live music as it lists the largest selection with the most relevant info available online. It'sLiveMusic is the place for artists and live music venues who want to expose themselves to live music lovers and music fans in general. The search engine sorts through thousands of online sources to find all the live music events listed online at any given time. It also finds and displays basic information about the artists and the venues and automatically creates a profile page for each. Shows are listed on artists' and venues' individual pages and the platform also automatically displays the shows on any other relevant page on the website. Venues and artists are encouraged to manage their free profiles where they can interact with fans and patrons, add a biography, add or update profile photos, update show listings, upload their music and sell tickets to their shows. Artists have even more incentive to manage and promote their profile. The more views a band’s profile gets, the higher it will show up on the home pages in any city or state the artist will soon be performing at. So the artist has a better chance to be discovered by users that were not necessarily looking for that artist but found out about it through It'sLiveMusic and may now be coming to the shows or purchasing music. Searching for shows is fast and easy by simply entering a street address, cross streets or a zip code in the search bar. On the results pages users can filter the shows by genre and time period such as this week's shows or this month's shows. Users can also choose to see the shows listed in order of the bands’ ratings (reflecting the users’ votes), or by driving distance from the starting searched location. Another way to find shows is to click directly on a city or a genre link from the home page. Searches can also be made for a specific band or venue. Just click on the relevant tab on top of the search bar (Venues or Bands tab) and type in the name or the first few letters of the name directly into the search field. It'sLiveMusic also provides links to performers' music on each artist's page to help users make a decision on whether to check out a particular show. The music might be located on the artists' own websites or MySpace pages, or their iTunes and Amazon stores. Music by select showcased artists will also be displayed directly on the homepage as another way to promote artists and their shows. Venue pages are also full of all relevant and useful information. You will find out if a venue has a full bar, serves food, and offers its own parking. You will also get driving directions and a map to the venues (no typing needed). Also listed are all the upcoming shows at a particular venue, the phone number, address, and ticket purchasing information.
