What is Punk to you?

So I am writing a research paper for school on how punk is still alive in America today. I f you dont mid answering some questions I would appreciate it so much!
What is Punk to you?

Do you feel punk is still as original as it was in the 70s? or is it just corperate bull?

Do you think punk ideals have changed in the last 30+ years?

what is the greatist punk moment of American history in your opinion?

Punk to me? Well punk to me is something made to go against what the people want. Your "different" from everone else. Example: You wore a nice jean jacket, But I wear a torn up jean jacket with patches. Also You want to go against the govt. But in a patriotic way. idk its hard to explain but its not really a style.

Its corperate bull now-a-days.

I dont think there really is a Moment of American history punk, The most movement was done in England.
