Life at what price?
In a world ruled by fear, how is it we are supposed to be free?

Everything that is done for the "good of the people" is motivated through fear. And what is it that the masses fear? Death. That is exactly what they fear. The end of physical life frightens people so terribly that they will give up anything in order to be secure in their safety.

But what costs do we pay for the security of our physical existence? We give up our will. We give up our free speech. We give up our privacy. We lose all that we hold dear because we are afraid. Terror runs rampant in the world we live in.

But I ask, what is so frightening about death? From the moment we're born, we're dying. Nothing can change this. Anything can happen at any time. You can be crossing the street and get hit by a bus. You can be crushed by a heavy falling object. Death is ever present and all powerful. Why fear such a natural thing?

I, for one, do not fear death. There is more to the world than just the physical. There is no reason to fear death. More over, there's no reason to give up yourself or your freedoms in order to prevent it.

Just live life the way you will. Fear no man, and do not fear death. Only when this is done will anyone be truly free.
