I knew it wasn’t true when you said it.
Cause before you love me, you have to love you.
I gave you my everything, and I got nothing.
I kept telling myself you’d come around
But I set myself up to pushed right back down.
All the fake smiles, all the lies, all the times you said goodbye.
The memories, I hope they soon fade.
But until that day, my body will sit and decay.
It’s withering away just like you did.
The worst part is, I hate that I still feel the same way
