What in the hell do I do
I been with the same girl for a couple of years. And I don't know I fucked up pretty bad in the past with drinking, druging and anger issues I should say. Well I am working myself out of those wrongful ways and trying to do the right thing now. My question is does anyone have any advise on what I can do to make her see how much I love her and sorry for the past. Need to patch things up, and your advise counts.
Thanks

The fact that you realize you had/have a problem is the first step to fixing it, one of the more difficult tasks is coming to acceptance.

If it's worth anything, you need to be the change you want to see. Granted you will slip up and make mistakes, we're human and that's just the way it goes, but don't get discouraged. Keep at it, turn your life style around, and as was previously mentioned find something else to occupy your new abundance of "free time".

Best of luck.

What is she into that you might find lame...apologizing on her terms might help take a step forward. Consitency with kicking your old habits will also help her see your effort. Maybe replacing bad habits with better ones and inviting her to come along- going to the gym together, hiking, driving around sightseeing, whatever. Good luck man.
