| What is the state of the music industry in Indonesia? |
Jrx: Oh lord, our music industry is [still] dominated by the typical soft pop rock hey-girl-look-at-me- i-am-so-handsome kinda bands. Its so fricking boring. All they sing about is ''I love you you love me'' stuff. And the funny thing is, some of them dressed more punkrock than us! Spikey-coloured-hair , Motley Crue Tshirt, fake tattoos, [probably fake] leather pants, metal-loaded expensive boots. Crazy. The radio and TV worship them and people in general are dying to buy their music. I mean, when can Indonesia will have a smarter and stand-up-for-themsel f generation if all they see, hear and sing is tacky love songs that has no point other then to sell millions records so the band can get rich and be on TV all the time. Indonesian music industry is all about money, fashion and fame. They dont give a damn about what is really goin on in this country. Pure cold business. Its sad. Very very sad..
