ok so tonight was the big semi formal that teenasge acid had to go to it celebrating the local talent in the area. First shannon and I got there kinda early so we just sat by ourselfs. Then soon later the room, which was ur cliche decore of white table clothes and party balloons, soon began to fill up. the rest of the band showed up dressed the same only more casual meh who care we're the only rock grunge group there the rest were like jazz and fock i guess . The mood was causal no to formal and all was pleasent in the lifes of us....that is untill...out of nowhere......BAM! barbie and her pose shows up in fromal wear complete with high heels and purses. shit well there goes the casual feeling. bad happening number 1. moving on an hour seemed to pass certificates were given out there were a few short preformances. all was good again minus the barbie. Then came the dreaded dance...at first all was good they played some pop punk-all american rejects.... but then like a brick wall it hit.....GETTO MUSIC. the most sad and pathectic style on this side of the earth. They lure u in with such high hopes only to have the crushed and shit on with welll shit. its sad. so bad happing number 2. the music soon followed in the cliche order of genres...techno,the ymca song (at every dance on the planet) then again out of no where they pulled a new trick out of their deranged hats....hill billy style music....i dont know the name of the song but lets just say there was hand clappen and knee stopping it was a horrific sight for the eyes and an ear bleeding one at that. all hope seemed to be lost for the two remaining teenage acids (o yeah for got to mention the rest of the band left us for dead they had to leave someone to claim the door prizes and shannon and i drew the shorter straws)anways....all hope was utterly lost and it seemed like we'd never make it out alive when all of a sudden...they played....Billy Jean by the great Micheal Jackson. THANK U MJ! i never thought id say that. emediatly shannon and i jumped to our feet and danced in the small coner in the back of the room (converinatly localed by the food source) and began to break it down. yes we scared a few people but fuck it we were tired of hearing about bitches hoes and cotton eye joe. but like all good things they must come to an end. so again shannon and i retreated to our seats and waited for the last door prices to be called out. there were some gift certificated and junk....and then the big band...2 play all day passes to WonderLand the greatest theme park thats located near us...they called out megan...she wasnt there.....then like a thunderstom it hit...ME they called my name. thats right bitches i won the tickets. so i made my way over to center stage shannon cheering me on the whole way...and only shannon cheering. i grabbed the tickets made my way back for a big high five. what a great concusion to the night. it made it all worth while. hell if i knew i was gonna win tickets i might have sat beside barbie who knows. but thanks to mj for giving me the bost and i beleive with out that song i may not have won...i owe u one...and shannon too with her crazy ninja interperative dancing..........tha nkx guys
