"a" god... well, who's god exactly are you referring to? a radical islamic one like punkasstexan notes, a dogmatically indoctrinated catholic one, or a fanatical christian zealot's god? taoism? zorastrianism? what?
read up on the difference between religion and religious, i think you'll discover they're somewhat unconnected.
what do you believe in? nihilism, anarchism... doesn't your belief in that make it your god? a belief in an abstract idea? i think anarchism runs against every last tendency in human nature blah blah blah. i think anarchy promotes chaos and you have to absolutely be lying to yourself to tell me it doesn't. like communism, it sounds good on paper but won't work in the real world. everyone has their own agenda, unfortunately.
anarchy. nihilism. that's what you believe in. that's your religion. sort of an ironic contradicion isn't it?
and anyway, haven't we left the emos to bewail the pointlessness of our existence? be a real punk and bitch about overzealous cops, government and venereal diseases, nihilism is so 1982. |
