Brooke has a fresh uniqueness that takes you into another dimension of sight
and sound. Montana girl, she's been in California since '96. "Performing is
a catharsis for me. I feel like I let my pain out during my shows. It is not
about entertaining for me, and it is not about perfection either.
Songwriting is also an outlet for pain but it is more of a challenge –
finding the right libretto to match that hook. I won't let myself settle for
the first thing that comes out of my guitar even if it does sound radio
friendly. I want to play something that will keep my interest; I would enjoy
listening to if I'm going to have to memorize it to be played at a show over
and over again."

Songs from this CD have received recognition in the 16th Annual Los Angeles
Music Awards, 2006 Great American Song Contest, 2007 Dallas GMA Academy,
11th Annual Unisong International Song Contest, 2007 UK Songwriting Contest,
2007 West Coast Songwriters Contest, and placement on two compilation CDs.
John Tracy's music is engaging and easy to listen to. His subject matter is
drawn from life and his transparency in his songwriting creates an immediate
connection between artist and listener. John Tracy's storytelling style
depicts themes close to home. His is an acoustic guitar driven sound in the
adult contemporary style and its authenticity resonates with his audience.
