Another Angel...
Another Angel on their knees
Reluctantly clipping off their wings
Giving up on God and faith
Forever lost through time and space.
Malcontent towards God was not in mind
The Devil I do not seek to find
This path was decided long ago
This path that I must walk alone
To suffer for those who could not atone
For those who could not suffer alone
For those distraught and ravaged by pain
For those who selfishly suffered in vain
Confused by this senseless act
God had no choice but to react
To find out why an Angel was lost
To understand why and at what cost
My child why have you forsaken me?
Why did you decided to leave?
The kingdom of Heaven is not easily gained
So, on this earth you shall forever remain
Now the Angel begins to say
As peaceful as a summers day
Without concern upon her heart
These words from her mouth begin to dart
In Heaven I could not idly stand
Watching those I care for across this land
Suffer and fret through life alone
For those things in life they can not atone
Misery will now be the life I lead
Happiness is no longer the life for me
True friends are hard to find indeed
So I give it to my friends in need
One by one there happiness returns
Every one of them all in turn
In due time their sorrows fade
Pleased again at the life they've made
Then happiness will return to me
Once I no longer have to see
The life that wasnt meant to be
Because through my friends this life I lead.
