Screw punk...Im here for the food

Hmmm, it has been sometime since we last posted some new badly spelled blogs, but never fear here is the latest news and mad ramblings of Enemy3.

So as we write this we are spooning with each other and hoping that you guys are enjoying the songs we have posted on our myspace, we are also hoping that Rowan will give up on buying and playing old school TV games. As we are sure you have noticed, we are playing at the PRM productions launch show, what we are not sure you have noticed is that the show will be our first show since we went into studio, so make sure you get there so you can see and hear what we have been up to, and as usual we will not be giving out handouts since the price in sticker paper has gone up...I ask you, who is global warming not effecting.
Now some might be compelled at this point to stop reading this, but if you are that bored...let us share some important news.
-there is a facebook Enemy3 group that is just waiting for you to join, so check it out.
-Enemy3 have started work on some new songs that are something a little different and lets just say that the punk kid with the acne might not approve.
-Roy has created a new dance move.
-the prank phone calls you have been receiving lately...was us.
-Enemy3 are compiling a 3 track sample CD that will come with our bio, member profiles, some pictures, the lyrics of the songs and some info about the recordings, alright this may be a little deceiving, its more like we going to make our own home copies and give them to who ever wants them...it aint an official release at all.
-Byron Volshcenk has never been happier since Enemy3 have left his studio after they broke his decorative African bead shaker thingy, and destroyed the studio kitchen.
-Gareth has overwhelming evidence that bread mold can be deadly

-The lyrics to the posted songs will be available soon.

Well we have said our say, and its time for us to go back to practice, so we leave you with some important fashion tips:
    wear flip flops with socks...
    beanies can substitute for underwear
a jersey is best when you are wearing runners shorts
use your mom's old wedding dress to make a kite....not really fashion but kites are cool.
give your body piercings an authentic raw appeal by not cleaning them and letting any infection have its way...you will also save money

Alright kids...that's us, see ya soon and try just remember for the love of Tinkies, that PANTS ARE ALWAYS OPTIONAL

    Let the Fight Sessions begin

    Alright Alright...quiet down.

So finally Enemy3 will be going into studio to record 4 tracks.

They have just made a deal with Sounds Right Studios to record 4 tracks over one month. The Incredible Byron Volschenk will be doing the whole shabang(if that is a useable word) for the boys at his studio in Springs. If you wanna find out more about the great work these guys do check out...www.soundsrigh t.co.za. The boys finally have decided that they are ready to record and have found a studio environment aswell as engineer that suits them.

The four tracks that will be chosen are(quick make this fun and get your annoying 7 year old brother to come make drum role noises...we cant promise you that people will like you more after doing this...sorry)

At number one we have the disturbing "Vampire Sydrome" with its revealing of the sick nature of abuse. At number two we have "Last Chance": adressing the boys feelings towards the dumb stuff they do to others.Third and looking good is "Unity's Anthem":The bands Anthem about the "good old days" at punk shows in the East Rand. And finally at fourth we have the powerful song "Tears Spent": an out cry from within of hurt and betrayal from some events that have taken place in the boys lives.

Keep checking up for more news and hey maybe even a sneak peak of the recordings if you promise to behave.

    Check ya

  • latest news and mad ramblings

    Hello hello.

How you today, I hope you got that rash sorted out since the last time we spoke.

So where to begin, well we have written another new song, but it will be along time until we actually play it at a show coz we wanna get it down perfectly. In light of the following commonly asked question: "So when can I get a cd or hear some of your tracks?", we have come up with some possible answers, please sellect one that suits you:

    1. Screw you

    2. We have not recorded any material, not even a demo, simply because we are really busy but more importantly, being the perfectionists that we are, or maybe just Roy, we wanna make sure that when we do so it will be absolutely incredibily perfect,so the longer we wait the more we perfect our songs. We are not in a hurry to record something that is gonna sound similar to that sound you hear when you punch your baby brother.

    3. We want to master the stage before any recording.

    4. Okay wise ass, you give us the cash and we will.

    5. Dude, as long as there is no demand for a album, there will be no album.

    6.Recording is for amatuer musicians.

7.Enough about us lets talk about you

So there I hope that brings some clarity on the subject. We do however have plans to record a demo in December and release one of our songs so keep your ears to the ground.

    Moving on.

We hope you guys are enjoying the enemy3 myspace.

    Moving on.

We have recently giged the Germiston bowl, the Keg and Lion in Kempton Park and London Calling, and all have been really cool, or atleast we thought so.

Well thats all we gonna say for now until next time.

    Check ya

    1000 Apologies

Hey kids,we just want to report back on Saturdays gig at Edenglen High School. After getting lost we finally arrived late only to realise that we had left Rowan's guitar FX's pedal at home.

And so Rowan and Micheal McD(or who we would like to now refer to as the "stage tech mike") set out to get Rowan some kind of distortion. We wanna say thanks to Iberiah for letting us use so much of thier equipment and Omnipotent for letting Rowan use thier distotion pedal.

Then we suffered dramatically from more "technical problems" and sooner or later it got harder to play because we were laughing so much at these mishaps.

So thanx to all the peeps who supported us, and we apologies for arriving late and all the technical probs we had. We will make it up to you guys at our next show.

    Check ya
