Before you die......
So today I was confronted with a poem or two by a friend.
She asks if I would read and give my opinion.
One of the poems was about her father, who had passed away a few months ago.
It was all about her last goodbyes were non-exsistant.
She had failed to express her love those final weeks.
She thought her world had fallen apart.
This made me think.
Why do we go through our years as the living only to regret what we have done in the past?
Why can't we understand the simpilest of things?
Make your life worth while.
Make others worth while too!
Im not asking to do community fucking service.
Just have fun.
Be crazy and out of control!!!!!
Do things you never thought you could do.
LIVE LIFE ON THE EDGE!!!!!
Live for the moments.
The special ones.
Because those are what will be remembered the most.

Im SICK of it.
Why do we fear being ourselves???????
Why do we have to turn ourselves into other people to be fooled into false happiness?
BE YOURSELF!!!!!!
There is NOTHING wrong with it!
So maybe if you dont follow the whole "bleach blonde big chest orange skinned abercrombie" trend, you'll get made fun of.

I LOVE being told im DIFFERENT.
BECAUSE I AM JUST THAT.
So maybe if you follow the "black hair over one eye skinny jeans vegan band tees high tops to much eye make up" you're "emo"
Or you wear chains and tripp pants you're "goth"
whatever happened to the simple punks and norms???
Punks stood for something.
Not pathetic trends that will disapear with the years.
Not the no talent up coming musicians who conform with the trends.
But being UNIQUE.
Being an idividual.
When wearing crazy clothing meant "IM NOT LIKE EVERYBODY!!!!!!!! IM ME!!! IM NOT WITH THE SICK TRENDS!!!!! IM AN OUTCAST, AND IM PROUD!!!!"
Its time for the stupidity to be stopped.
It is time for the conformists to shut up and leave us be.
Its time for hollywood fads to end.
Its time to get the old ways going again!!!
Instead of looking back on your life saying "I used to be like everyone else...wow...I went emo when I was 12-15 then goth from 15-16 then I was a prep from 16-25 then a nobody from then on.

You went with the crowds.
I want to look back on my life saying
"WOW I was pretty crazy! Wearing spikes when it was unpopular, wearing plaid when I new it had been out for years...when I avoided going tanning, when I knew "you arent cool if your pale" When I didnt go get pregnant when I knew its the new hollywood trend. Trying my best to avoid those terrible labels. When I ditched MCR and Fall Out Boy because they turned into SELL OUT CONFORMISTS. When I ditched my hollister for anything unusual. When I proved to myself, that no matter how I dress, the thought is what counts. The state of mind is what being a punk is all about. Knowing no matter who I am, and who I become, I will forever be myself. I will stay away from becoming a stranger. I will not ditch myself for someone else's body and thoughts. I will love the insults, the name calling. I will be me not you.
Be who you want to be.
If you want to be different, dont shop at only one store, shop wherever.
Find your identity.
And KEEP IT.
Be who you are, and cherish it.
Dont sell out and conform.
