Is it found in the eyes, the nose, or the knees?
Does it even exist? Or is it all just a lie?
I want you to look
I want you to see
Observe what 'perfection' means to me...
Pathetically hungered for
Everlastingly evasive
Required of everyone
Found in noone
Erroneously worshipped
Creates chaos and confusion
Tirelessly daunting
Irrelivant
Optical illusion
Never attainable

Pinstripes and Lollipops
Feelings swell and fly throughout me.
Why does crying overwhelm me?
I feel so static , just like pinstripes.
Dragging my feet from day to day.
Going ever and eternal,
through the motions everyday.
Feeling swell and fly throughout me.
When will emotional stability find me?
I want to feel so strong and hard,
a shell around to protect my heart.
From my roller coaster ride of emotions
swirling 'round inside my mind.
Lollipops, will sweeten me and give me
the stability, though only temporarily...
To calm my eccentric mind.
