System You 16 online next week....
I am getting my next show together for next week and am looking forward to spinning some new and old tunes for everyone!
In the mean time, I was thinking about how fortunate I was to have found my local punk scene when I was about 12 years old. Punk changed my life and I am sure it has done the same for countless poeple here and all over the world. I can honestly say that one of the biggest things that I learned early from older punks was to tune in to, and be very cautious of the source, of what is going down in your own country and around the world. In short....be aware of current events as well as history. I meet many kids these days who can't hold a conversation about history or what is currently going on in the world. With so many "alternative" news sources and learning opportunities available, do yourself a favor and stay up on what's going down. I think it's so important to stay ahead of the masses. As punks rebelling against the status quo and the loads of bullshit tossed on humans every day, you owe it to yourself to know what your facing.
With oil hitting just below 90 bucks a b and the dollar dipping to it's all time low it's obvious the backwards policies that rule the world are starting backfire. Stay awake people!
