  • Genie In A Bottle

Since the beginning of time, mankind has made several discoveries and inventions to help us all progress. From the early caveman's discovery on the use of fire to the invention of the information highway - the internet (thanks, Al Gore), man has made great strides over the thousands of years to make civilization's life just a bit better each generation.

Well, man has really outdone himself recently. In fact, modern science has made our lives so convenient we need to do practically nothing.

Feeling a bit over weight compared to all those sexy Hollywood stars and models that grace the covers of such fine mind-bending literature. Fear not - you, too, can have have such a desirable body as theirs. All you need to do is order one of the many pills offered on TV. Hell, you need not even move from the couch with your cell phone at your side and guaranteed door-todoor shipping. This wonder drug is practically placed in your lap. Within 6-8 weeks, you, too, can lose as much weight as Gladys and incurr the same life changing experience of going from the ugly duckling to Milan runway model.

Oh, now women say that they have lost that little exta something in the tummy and hip area, but are a bit lacking in the chest area. No problem!!! There is a pill for that as well. Oh yes, soon you will be able to compete for paparazzi with such great artists as Anna Nicole Smith.

Now you are worried about those fine little lines around your eyes and lips from years of experience inhibiting your china-doll complexion. We are one step ahead of you. There are numerous ointments available at the drop of a hat that can just wash those little worries away.

Men need not be alarmed. We have come a long way in society to know that one should not discriminate. Modern science can make you beautiful just as well. If you feel you are lacking in the magnitude of your manhood. There is a pill to cure as well. Do not be shy. It comes discretely packaged to keep your "little secret" secret.

Now if your upgraded piece of machinery is lacking in enhanced performance, you have many choices of fuel available to you. You must be intelligent with your choice though. Each fuel brand has its advantages as well as its disadvantages. Please do take the time to weigh the pro's and con's of each very seriously.

Worried that the shaved head look will soon go out of style just like last season's color pallet so scrupiously designed by are humanitarian fashionistas (god, how can civilization survive without the fashionistas?)? What is one to do if no growth can be sprouted after years of keeping it so close? So many worries settled with so many choices. Please do remember that we come from the land of the free and the home of the brave. Not only can you join an elite club where the founder is no only the president, but is an active member as well, you also have your choices of several chemistry sets to apply externally to your barren field.

For all the important issues that plague our society and raises our stress levels, the answers are only a phone call away rush delivered in a bottle directly to you - your own personal Genie in a bottle.

  • What makes a good song?

Does a good song have great lyrics and good music or good lyrics and great music?

  • When and where was your cherry popped?

Just curious to hear about people's experiences of their first live punk show. Mine was back in the '80's with The Exploited - severly intense at a club in Chicago called Medusa's. Tremendous scaffold diving and a very treacherous mosh pit. Even had the great honor of singing Sex and Violence with Wattie onstage.

  • All Hail to the Almighty $$$$!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, step right up!!! What I have for you is a must for every little punkrocker of today!!! Yes, you, too, can have your own, personal Sid Vicious or Johnny Rotten action figure for the low price of $19.95.

This is a must have for all you hardcore punks out there. Make mommy and daddy cringe as you exhibit your fine collection of figures - paying hommage to your heros.

Are you fucking kidding me? I could not believe my eyes when I saw these pre-packaged, commercialized "action figures" neatly placed on display for all the supposedly hardcore punks to see.

It was a sad day when Dr. Martens were sold in their exclusive mall stores too all who wanted to be cool. But this is absolutely absurd. I am just curious who held the rights to authorize this absolute sacreligious action.

I know it was not Sid - he is dead. Is Malcom hurting for money? Is Johnny trying to recoup all the money Malcom stole from him during the Sex Pistol days?

I also ponder the thoughts as to why no "rebellious" figures of Steve, Paul or maybe even Glen. I guess they are not as "marketable." Does that mean Sid and Johhny are on the same level as Justin Timberlake of N'sync?

Oh the insanity of it all is killing me slowly. Is there really No Future? Is punk really dead?
